Inspect Your Emergency BrakeAs silly as it seems, there are times when the emergency brake will not be down quite far enough and will set off the light, regardless of whether the brakes are actually being used. A simple way to check this is to engage your emergency brake, check the corresponding dash light, and move it back into the off position. Do this a few times to make certain.
