New car style 2011 Ford Shelby GT500



The visitors of the 2010 Chicago Auto Show could see the spectacular presentation of 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 which is going to production very soon. The automaker says that the number of cars will be limited to 5,500 units in order to “maintain exclusivity”, but there is a great number of customers who want to have this car.
Shelby GT500 was presented with a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine that outputs 550 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. Comparing to previous models, the 2011 Shelby has a new 2.75-inch exhaust system, revised brakes, and electric power-assisted steering. The optional features are a glass roof; an electronic package that has voice-activated navigation, Sirius Travel Link, HD radio and dual-zone automatic climate control; and popular SVT Performance package, which gives Goodyear Eagle F1, SuperCar G:2 tires, taller rear axle ratio, stiffer shocks and springs, and some styling features.
The standard coupe starts at $49,495; the convertible version is priced from $54,495. Ford has already received 3,300 orders from dealers and various customers for the 2011 Shelby GT500.
