New car style the Most Expensive Ram Truck Ever: 2011 Ram Laramie Longhorn

How much do ranchers usually spend on a truck? $45,000-$50,000? It is good to have such vehicle for work, but what if it will be equipped as a top luxury car: remote start, back-up camera, leather interior, heated seats, etc.?
Chrysler has decided to create the most expensive Ram truck ever with all the above mentioned features and many more. It is the 2011 Ram Laramie Longhorn aimed for “gentleman ranchers”. It will go to dealerships in the first quarter of 2011. The price will be announced closer to the launch of the sales.
A basic 2011 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Laramie costs $43,550. The head of Ram Truck Brand, Fred Diaz says that Laramie makes about 25% of all truck sales, so the customers are interested in this model and they want premium trucks. Mr. Diaz expects that the luxury Laramie Longhorn should be 6-10 percent of the sales.
The true ranchers should love it because Longhorn was inspired by hand-tooled cowboy boots, saddles and antique pocket watches. It features such things as Western-style exterior badges, exclusive Sagebrush exterior paint with White Gold touches, and 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels. The cabin is trimmed in leather with Longhorn logos everywhere. Front seatbacks have flap-closure pockets designed to look like saddlebags.
